I am Palanichamy O Thevar elected as a Secretary to the United Nations Association of Australian QLD (UNAA Qld)  since Aug 2018.  Now I am an Advisor and immediate Past President between 2016 - 2017 and  of The Federation of Indian Communities of Queensland Inc (FICQ), Australia.

I was born in U. Pudukottai, Uthappanaickanur, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District for A. Ochathevar and Muthupillaiyammal.  Married to Pulavar Pandimadevi Palanichamy Thevar.  I have three children Prathana, Vijayapriya and Kaaviyan.

In started my Primary School in Pudukottai, High School at Government Higher Secondary Scool, B. Sc., in Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar College, Usilampatti.  M.Sc., Peace Making at Madurai Kamaraj University.  M.Phil - Peace Research at Gujarat Vidyapith (Deemed Unversity) founded by Mahatma Gandhi.  Lived and studied at Sevagram Ashram - Wardha.

Worked with ASSEFA, Tamil Nadu Sarvoday Mandal, Gandhi Study Centre, Madurai Gandhi Museum. 

In Australia went to University of Queensland and compled B.ScWrk. Since 1996 I have worked various organisation such as Project Recreation, Micah Project, Australian Red Cross, Kyabra and Centcare - Anamcara. Currently working with Department of Communities - Queensland Government.

Currently pursuing Ph.D program with Australian Catholic University, Queensland, Australia.
